Directions

The River Moy Half Marathon Starts and Finishes at The Ballina Rugby Club, Creggs Road, Ballina.

The Rugby Club can be accessed from Ballina town through the Quay Village. Take the first turn right after Crockets on the Quay. Approaching Ballina from Co.Sligo on the N59, turn right at Creggs Cross onto Creggs Road.

From Dublin to race start (via Sligo)

Take the N4 Signposted West heading for Sligo. Follow on to the M4. Follow the road until you come to the turn off for the N59 signposted for Ballina. Follow the N59 for approximately 50 km until you reach Ballina. On entering Ballina you will come across a set of traffic lights at the bridge. Take a right at these lights and follow the road along the river. Follow that road and take a right signposted the Rugby club where you will find the start of the race.

By Train

Regular train services into Ballina Station. Take Dublin to Westport train and change at Manulla Junction.

By Bus

The town is serviced direct bus from Dublin, Sligo, Galway on a daily basis.
